EEEK! SPIDER!!

So here is the really gross story of the season. About a week ago Seth went outside late at night to put the garbage can out on the curb. Not long after he goes out I hear him calling to me, "MICKI! Come quick! Come see this! Its HUGE and NASTY!" Naturally, I was questioning the wisdom in going outside to see what was so "huge and nasty." But, I did it anyway if only because he is my husband and I love him...most of the time. This was one of those times I loved him a little less for making me go outside to see the biggest, most scary looking tarantula I have ever seen crawling up the side of our house. We both agreed that killing it would be long and really, really gross so Seth knocked it down into a plastic tub and kept it in the garage. I didn't go into the garage for days while it was down there. Ewww, it makes me shudder just thinking about it. But finally last tuesday we took it miles, and miles, away into a corn field and let it go. This is where Seth took these pictures.
